Hosting Students from the NYPi-ROK ASEAN TVET Mobility Program

With host CWT Integrated Pte Ltd, CDAS President and CWT CEO Mr. Ricky Loo was pleased to welcome another batch of some 25 student from ASEAN countries and faculty members once again from the NYPi-ROK ASEAN TVET Mobility Program, focusing on IT Applications & Development, hosted by Nanyang Polytechnic’s NYP, International, coordinated by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI)

The 4 week program is designed to equip the students with relevant IT skills meant for the industry, and in includes industry visits to sectors that utilize technology as part of their transformation efforts.

This round, the students got to witness CWT’s patented Mega Logistics Hub, at CSRS Depot, where they were given a personal guided tour of the facilities by Mr. Loo, who shared about the unique design and how the facility operates in ensuring a smooth daily logistics operations, as well as the wealth of services they provide. He also shared about CDAS’ various industry initiatives, to help uplift the industry through the adoption of smart technology, digitization and digitalization, and automation The students got to understand how through industry automation, workers need not worry about being displaced, but to have better working conditions and improve productivity become a modernized workforce, and the industry can become better optimize resources.

Overall, we hoped the students had a fruitful visit and we look forward to continue working together with all parties again.
