From Germany to Singapore: Continuing the Learning Journey in Innovation and Digitalisation.

The study mission may be over, but the learning journey continues!

Following the insightful TAC Benchmarking Mission in Germany, CDAS was honoured to host our fellow representatives from the 8 Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs), together with our knowledge partner PwC Singapore and Enterprise Singapore, for a local learning visit to the CWT Integrated Pte Ltd’s Container Storage & Retrieval System (CSRS) Depot.

Hosted by our President, Mr. Ricky Loo, the delegation, joined by members of the CDAS Council, got to experience first-hand how the container depot and logistics industry has embraced automation and digitalisation, transforming traditional operations into the world’s first multi-storey automated container depot.

During the visit, Mr. Loo shared CDAS’s ongoing journey and the numerous initiatives we’ve championed over the decades to uplift the industry, such as the CDAS Pay ePayment system and Container Tracking System (CTR), which go a long way towards addressing long-standing operational challenges, to driving digital transformation and sustainability efforts.

These initiatives have not only optimised resources and improved efficiency, but have also empowered our workforce to do more, achieve more, and continue evolving with technology.

? It was an inspiring exchange of ideas and experiences, reinforcing how innovation, collaboration, and leadership can reshape industries and pave the way for a smarter, greener future.

Special thanks to the folks from Enterprise Singapore and the folks at CWT CSRS Depot for coordinating this visit!
