CDAS took part in the National Day Celebration Dinner organized by the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 8 August 2018, where Minister for National Development & Second Minister for Finance, Mr. Lawrence Wong was the guest-of-honour.
As one people, one nation, guests sung the National Anthem, and took the National pledge, while Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Minister Chan Chun Sing delivered the National Day Message via live broadcast.

While we celebrate Singapore’s 53rd Birthday, we as a nation must continue to strive for greater progress as we tackle the coming “clouds on the horizon”, which will affect Singapore’s own growth and prosperity. Thus the need to strengthen our resilience and create new opportunities, by “doing the best we can, whatever the external circumstances”
