While Singapore continues to take on the challenges due to COVID 19 and embracing the new normal, our National Servicemen continue to steadfastly play their roles in safeguarding our borders as well as supporting our nation’s fight against COVID-19 – readily stepping up to discharge their duties to the nation with full commitment and professionalism.
CDAS salute our National Servicemen for all their contributions to the nation’s peace and security, particularly in this time of unprecedented need. As we commemorate SAF Day on 1 Jul, we would like to encourage you to join us in showing appreciation and support to our National Servicemen for their service to the nation.

Employers and Businesses may also consider demonstrating their support for their NSman employees and National Service by:
a. Catching the SAF Day Ceremony live on 1 Jul 2020 from 9.40am at www.facebook.com/mindefsg together with your NSmen employees (with appropriate safe distancing measures or virtually). You may also wish to organise your own in-house rededication ceremonies with resources provided on the “We Support NS” website (www.mindef.gov/WeSupport)
b Encouraging your NSman employees to wear their uniform for work on 1 Jul 2020 (whether physically at the workplace or working from home)
c. Sharing how you and your NSman employees commemorated SAF Day together (virtually or physically with appropriate social distancing) on your company social media or website with #WeSupportNS. You may also share your photos or videos with us at NSOut
