Thanks to the fine folks at CWT Integrated Pte Ltd , CDAS was proud to have helped coordinate the hosting of a visiting group of some 30 ASEAN delegates from the National Standards Bodies of 10 ASEAN nations + Timor Leste at the CSRS Depot last Friday!
Led by CDAS President, Mr. Ricky Loo, the delegates – part of the 13th Digital Trade Standards and Conformance Working Group (13DTSCWG) hosted by Enterprise Singapore – got a look at the world-first patented Container Storage and Retrieval System Depot (CSRS).
Mr. Loo, who also serves as the Chairman for the Singapore Standards Council, Trade and Connectivity Committee, was hands-on in personally guiding the delegates in showcasing how his organization applies Singapore Standards to help streamline his logistics operations, as well as sharing on the numerous initiatives (such as CTR and timeslot booking systems, and CDAS Pay cashless payment) rolled out by CDAS that played a part alongside shaping the industry through digitalization and digitization that helps further reinforce the implementation of industry best practices and standards.
The Digital Trade Standards and Conformance Working Group (DTSCWG) aims to harmonise standards within ASEAN to streamline trade and logistics processes and reduce technical barriers to advance ASEAN’s regional integration. And CDAS will continue to work closely with stakeholders and be most supportive in helping our industry bring about unified and common standards that will help improve best practices, efficiencies and industry standards across the board!
