As Singapore continues its fight against the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, many have come together to show their support and solidarity with us. One of which was Switzerland, who illuminated the Swiss Alps with projections of images, including the flags of countries around the world. Extension of Circuit Breaker Period and Tightened List of Essential Services

1.    The Government is extending the Circuit Breaker period by another four weeks until 1 June 2020 (inclusive). They will monitor the situation closely, and may be able to gradually ease some of the measures if there is a significant decline in our local transmission numbers. 2.    The Government will provide the same level of support to workers and businesses for the extended Circuit Breaker period. Solidarity Budget 2020 for Businesses

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat introduced the Solidarity Budget yesterday, 6 April 2020. COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Bill: 6 month Relief from rental payments, loan instalments, etc. (FAQs, Infographics)

The Ministry of Law will be passing a new legislation, entitled “COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Bill”.   The new law will enable companies’ whose businesses have been adversely affected by Covid-19 to seek relief from fulfilling their contractual obligations such as paying rent, paying instalments on bank loans, fulfilling their construction contracts, etc for a period of six months. The bill will be read in Parliament and come into effect in mid-April. Temporary Relief for Inability to Perform Contractual Obligations Due to COVID-19 Situation

The Ministry of Law has just announced its intention to introduce the “COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Bill”. Most Safety Conscious Driver Award 2020

Each year, as part of the PSA Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Launch, PSA engages the Haulier Associations (CDAS, SLA and STA) to encourage members to nominate drivers for the Most Safety Conscious Driver Award to be presented at the PSA HSSE Launch. Drivers who had demonstrated safety performance by not committing any safety infringements, contributre or cause any accidents / incidents, or had no adverse feedbacks from the terminals stood a chance to be nominated. Hosting of Hainan Delegates September 2019

CDAS was pleased to host the delegates from the Hainan who visited to understand our efforts in digitizing the container trucking and container depot industry. Apart from sharing what CDAS does, we had also shared about our various initiatives and projects to help the industry, as well as got an opportunity to network with them while introducing them to our local snacks and delights.
